The route to Sumit Rai and the Bicester Heritage cluster, and the planned route to Roger W. Smith.
Who they are
Alistair Audsley is a connector inside English heritage and craft circles. He moves between high-end making, the watchmaking world, the heritage automotive scene, and the broader culture of contemporary patrons and craftspeople in this country.
What they have contributed
Alistair made the introduction to Sumit Rai, opening a route toward the heritage automotive cluster at Bicester Heritage and the trades that work there - one of the most concentrated communities of working heritage craftspeople in England. He is also the planned route to Roger W. Smith, the Isle of Man-based watchmaker whose practice is one of the most significant in living English horology and a priority Maker subject for TEA.
His daughter Katya Audsley (Loupe Works) is a separate ongoing TEA conversation.
