The England Archive is supported by a small number of institutions and individuals whose work aligns with ours. The list below names the organisations who have formally endorsed TEA or entered into an active, working partnership with it. Subjects documented within the archive have their own pages; this register is for the institutions whose backing and collaboration make the work possible.

Daniel Carpenter - Executive Director
The national advocate for heritage crafts in the UK has issued a formal endorsement of The England Archive. The endorsement has been circulated to HCA members through the association bulletin, and TEA has been invited to the Bovey Tracey Craft Festival talks programme in June 2026.
South Downs
An active working relationship with the Park Authority rangers. TEA is documenting All Ranger Day at Stanmer Park, Brighton, on 13 May 2026 as part of the ongoing archive of English stewardship.

The Cotswolds
The Guild has proposed Chipping Campden as a beta site for The England Archive, with alignment to the Arts & Crafts Symposium in October 2027. A shared principles document is in progress.
David Rowe
The Cotswolds
Working with TEA on the cultural calendar of Chipping Campden and on the shared principles document being produced with the Guild of Handicraft Trust. The archive of a place begins with the people who carry its record.
Alistair Audsley
An active partnership connecting TEA to the small, concentrated world of English watchmaking. Introductions given to the National Association of Jewellers and the Goldsmiths Company, and to the independent workshops that sit beside them.

Yorkshire
A deep working relationship with the 400-year-old Sheffield cutlers institution. A full maker list has been shared, a bulletin has gone to members, and Cutlers’ Hall has offered exhibition space. TEA’s first Sheffield documentation visit is confirmed for 1 June 2026.

Photographer of We English and Merrie Albion. Active creative advisor to the project, bringing three decades of documenting contemporary English life.

Fifty years documenting England's customs and ceremonies. Author of An Annual Affair and Hunting With Hounds. Mentor to the project; proposed author of the foreword to Book 1.

The archive is a three-year documentary project and a longer institution. Museums, guilds, conservation bodies, small presses, and individuals whose work aligns with ours are welcome to get in touch.
